If you’ve been following the brand, then you will not be disappointed. OnePlus has managed to woo its customers yet again. With its high-end software and hardware, the OnePlus 5T model is among the best phones for its range. In fact, it does better than some high-end brands with heftier price tags.

Of course, it’s far from perfect but that doesn’t mean the phone’s not worth raving about. The 5T retains pretty much the same hardware as its predecessor and also features the same headphone jack, battery and processor. However, users will be pleased to know that there are significant improvements with the camera and screen. The new model includes a 6-inch AMOLED display that dominates the front face of the phone. Additionally, the brand has swapped the 20-megapixel lens with a lens that can capture photos in low light.

While this new model certainly is not as cheap as the other phones of the same flagship, it is still pocket-friendly, which is why it has retained its mass-appeal. Speaking more on its positives, the 5T features an enviable display screen that now measures 6 inches instead of 5.5. However, since the bezels are thinner, users may not notice the change as the phone visibly looks mostly the same. The good news is that it still retains its display’s resolution so that you can enjoy sharper pictures.

Another notable spec worth raving about is the new face unlock feature. However, unlike its competitors, the brand admits this spec is not as secure, especially for mobile payments. Still, it’s a notable improvement which gives users another way to unlock their phones (plus, it is much faster and kind of fun too).

At the expense of optical zooming, the phone offers better low-light camera. Though it retains its dual-camera setup, the 20-megapixel camera has now been replaced with a lens that can take better low light pictures. On the downside, the lens does not feature an optical zoom feature any more.

For what it’s worth, the phone is great for new buyers because of its affordable price tag.
