Pumpkin Pie Green Smoothie

· 1 small, frozen ripe banana

· ¼ cup pumpkin purée

· 1¼ cup spinach (preferrably frozen)

· ¼ cup light coconut milk

· 1/3 cup plain unsweetened almond milk (more to thin)

· ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

· 1tsp green powder (optional)

· 2tbsp plain or vanilla protein powder (optional)


Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth, scraping down sides as needed. If too thick, add more almond or coconut milk. Taste and adjust flavour as needed. For more pumpkin flavour, add more pumpkin pie spice. For more sweetness, incoporate more banana, or a bit more vanilla protein powder – optional (or a dash of maple syrup). Serve immediately, as it tastes best when served fresh.
