App of the Week

This app is designed to help users resist the urge to cause self-harm. The app has received plenty of praise around the world for trying to combat mental health problems. It offers a safe distraction and has four categories: distract, comfort, express and release to help the person accordingly. Users can also personalise the background colour theme and make other friendly changes. It has been developed by Dr Krause, Consultant Clinical Psychologist using the principles of Dialectic Behaviour Therapy.
