Rani on the ‘real victory of an actor’

Rani Mukerji is all set to play the role of a teacher with Tourette syndrome in her upcoming film Hichki. This will be her first movie post the birth of her daughter, Adira. Talking about her role, the actress said, "Whenever I play a character in a film, I try to disconnect with Rani Mukerji and emotionally connect with the part. If a person sitting in a cinema hall can forget who you really are and believes you are the character, that's the real victory for an actor," and added, "I want people to forget that they are watching a Rani Mukerji film and get involved in the character."

The Black star further added that she has to also be careful with such roles as there is always a probability to look like a caricature.
