Afridi’s tweet supporting Kashmir angers Indians

What’s trending!

As soon our very own Boom Boom Afridi extended his support towards innocent Kashmiris in the Indian Occupied region using social media, the Indian media turned verbally violent on Twitter.

Remarks in the shape of tweets by notable Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and a parody account of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja seemed pretty hostile and rude; it seemed as if they were representing a right-wing Indian’s agenda.

In his tweet, Afridi urged the United Nations and various other international organisations to take notice of the extreme oppression of India in Kashmir and take actions to stop the bloodshed of innocent, defenceless citizens by the cruel Indian Army. TV channels went on a spree to attack Afridi for supporting a genuine humanitarian cause, claiming it to be an insult to India. Afridi, on the other hand, stands by his tweets and vows to be the voice of innocents being killed in the occupied land.
