New attraction in Lahore breathes fresh air in the city

he two attractions at Greater Iqbal Park, Lahore which was under construction as part of extending the Iqbal Park, have now been completed. Pakistan Map Lake and National History Museum are now open for public. Both were inaugurated around two weeks back by notable figures of Lahore authorities.

The newly constructed Pakistan Map Lake will now offer people touring the park an opportunity to ride boats and as well as see the life size map of Pakistan from close proximity. The Greater Iqbal Park covers a huge area around the historic Pakistani monument Minar-e-Pakistan where the establishment of Pakistan was approved in 1940. To help people relive the struggles of men and women of that time, the National History Museum is a fitting reminder of all those struggles and pays tribute to the people who worked hard for the independence of Pakistan. The space showcases various movements across the history of Pakistan which will help people learn more about the basic concepts of freedom, struggle and the initial hardships experienced by the countrymen and women.

Look what the social media wind brought in – two of our very beautiful, talented and favourite actors, Sajal and Hania twinning with their outfit. Granted that they wore it at different times and places, we couldn’t help but get in the fashion-face-off mode. Hania wore her dress for a musical event and opted for an edgy twist of a high bun with this traditional look. While Sajal let her envious locks flow and paired her dress with heavier statement earrings. We have to say, her version of the look has gotten more votes from us than any other!

Get ready for a filmi Eid

The teaser for the Mahira Khan and Shehryar Munawar-starrer 7 Din Mohabbat In is out after many days of quirky poster releases. The teaser for the rom-com shows the latter as an unlucky-in-love guy who is being helped by the former in meeting the love of his life. Mahira tries really hard to be the chirpy, happy-go-lucky Pakistani version of Geet from Jab We Met, but for some reason we are just not buying it. Judging from what we saw in the teaser, her character doesn’t suit her at all, while Shehryar seems to be fitting his part. Nonetheless, the film looks like a fun watch.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon also released two teasers few days back, which has left us desiring for more! The short clips show a couple of fighter planes flying about with Hamza Ali Abbasi and Shaz Khan in them, as handsome as they look in air force uniforms. There is hardly anything regarding the story or other characters in the teaser. Here, hoping that we get to see some more teasers in the coming days. Both the movies are out on Eid, and considering that the teams have started to promote the movies simultaneously, there is bound to be a competition.
