Sarmad Khoosat is a highly acclaimed actor, director and screenwriter. He rose to mainstream popularity during the mid-1990’s with his sitcom Shashlick, which ran for over three years on television. In the course of his successful career, Sarmad has directed many hit projects like Humsafar, Pani Jaisa Pyar, Shehre Zaat, Aakhri Station, Manto and others. He was also behind the camera for the telefilm Ek Thi Marium. In 2017, he received a Pride of Performance award for his artistic contributions to the world of showbiz and entertainment.
