Dangal seems to have opened the skies for actress Sanya Malhotra whose performance was highly appreciated in her debut film. She has managed to bag some great films post Dangal. One of her much-awaited films is Churiyan with Vishal Bharadwaj and the actress is still pinching herself about it. 

Sanya says, “We all had a script reading recently and all of a sudden I realised that I was sitting with Vishal Bharadwaj reading a script. In a few days, he will be directing me. It’s unbelievable and yet to sink in.”

Set in Rajasthan, Churiyan revolves around the lives of two women before and after marriage. The film will also have TV star Radhika Madan of Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi fame. 

Reportedly, Sanya has also been asked to gain some weight for this project. Apart from Churiyan, Sanya will also be seen in Badhai Ho and Photograph.
