After delivering her career best performance in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi, Alia Bhatt plans to sign a lighthearted movie. With some serious movies like Brahmastra and Kalank in her kitty already, Alia now wants to sign a fun movie and guess who will direct her in that? Well, it’s none other than Bareilly ki Barfi director, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Yes, Alia has given her nod to the director’s next project and the official announcement will be made soon.

Alia confirmed the news of her collaboration with Tiwari to Hindustan Times. She said, “I am definitely going to do a film with Ashwiny because she is a fabulous director. The film is sort of confirmed, but I am not saying it myself, as there will be an official announcement soon.”

Ranbir all praises for Alia Bhatt

Over the past few months, there were many rumours about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor being in a relationship. The two have been spotted many times together. The duo recently even made a stunning entry at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding reception. However, when Alia Bhatt was asked about the dating rumours she neither agreed nor denied the same but rather said that she does not need to clarify or deny anything. 

Earlier Alia Bhatt had said that she has a huge crush on Ranbir Kapoor and it is a dream come true for her to be working with him in Brahmastra. At a press conference in Delhi, Ranbir was asked a question about Alia’s crush on him. The actor's reply has surely left us stunned and is giving rise to many questions about the equation.

Ranbir said, “Well, I have a boy crush on her now.” Karan Johar who was also present at the event went ‘AWW’ at Ranbir’s answer.

Apart from this Ranbir was all praise for Alia's film Raazi. He said, “I watched the film a week before the release and it blew my mind. It’s one of the greatest films ever made in Indian cinema.”
