A Glam Eid Affair
- 02 Jun - 08 Jun, 2018
The scorching heat of summers has made it fairly easy for ladies to choose their eid outfits. Nevertheless, even with the exclusion of heavy prints and deep colours, there is still a lot for us to decide between, and no thanks to the umpteen designer collections hogging the stores all over.
This scarlet outfit is perfect for your eid dinners. Even though shades of white and pastels will rule this eid, but if you still want to keep one bold outfit handy, flaunt it in the evening when its expected to get cooler. And accessorise it with gold or bronze jewellery for added glam.
Want to stick out from the crowd of candy floss hues? Go for nude, tan, fawn, off-white and cream shaded attires. This will not only give you an overall subtlety, but still leave you with the option of adding drama through a bold pout, smokey eyes, or an over-the-top hairdo.
When you think of pastels, your mind naturally goes to baby pink and powder blue. Not many people check out other hues that serve the purpose and are less experimented with. This summer, opt for a creamy yellow or pistachio green. Styling with such hues is definitely going to be fun!
If you feel incomplete without the inclusion of black in you outfit, worry not! You could easily add some glitz in through jewels, shoes and bag. If that’s not the route you want to take, pair your black top with pants embroidered or printed with gold design.
Don’t forget to incorporate edgy cuts in your eid wardrobe this year. High-low and peplum shirts, bell and cut-out sleeves, wide and gharara pants, are all doing rounds. This year’s fashion is giving you a lot of freedom to have fun with these cuts as well as details such as ruffles, pleats, drapes, and tassles. But don’t go overboard – go crazy with only one separate at a time.
