1. Facial Mask with Banana and Honey


• 1 ripe banana

• 2 tbsp honey

How to prepare it:
Mash a ripe banana then mix it with honey. Once the mask is prepared, go ahead and apply evenly on your face. Let it dry before you reach out for a face wash. During summer season, consider applying this hydrating face mask once or twice a week for a clear and hydrated skin.

2. Facial Mask with Baking Soda and Sugar


• 1 tsp baking soda

• 1 tsp granulated sugar

• 2 tbsp lemon juice

How to prepare it:

Put all the above mentioned ingredients in the specified quantities in a container. Then mix them up properly to create a good homemade face mask. Gently smear this hydrating face mask on your skin and allow it to dry up. Post that, you can wash it off and follow up by applying a good skin-friendly facial toner. Once a week, apply this face mask to keep your skin naturally moisturised.

3. Facial Mask with Aloe Vera Gel and Coconut Oil


• 2 tbsp aloe vera gel

• 2 tsp coconut oil

How to prepare it:
Take a spoon to scoop out the gel of an aloe vera plant. Then in usual manner, mix it up with other ingredients and gently apply a thin layer of this skin hydrating mask on your face and neck. As soon as the mask dries up, wash it off with cold water. Repeat it on a weekly basis to keep your skin soft and hydrated throughout the summer season.

4. Facial Mask with Apple Cider Vinegar


• 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

• 1 tbsp honey

• 1 tsp yogurt

• 2 drops of rose water

How to prepare it:
Pour all the ingredients in a glass bowl and mix them well. Once done, you are free to evenly apply the mask all over your face. After that, allow the mask to settle on your skin before rinsing it off with cold water. Weekly application of this mask will help your skin stay hydrated during summer season.


Sugar Lemon Scrub


• 3 tbsp granulated sugar

• Juice from ½ a lemon

• 1 tbsp raw honey

• 1 tsb olive oil

How to prepare it:
Combine lemon juice and olive oil thoroughly in a small bowl. Once the ingredients are well combined, add raw honey and granulated sugar. Slowly rub the mixture in circular motions on cleansed skin. Rinse face with warm water then pat dry. Moisturise the skin afterwards.

Oatmeal & Honey Scrub


• 3 tbsp finely ground oatmeal

• 1 tbsp raw honey

How to prepare it:
Combine both the ingredients together and mix well. Apply the mixture on freshly cleansed skin and rub in circular motions. Rinse face with warm water and pat dry. Moisturise the skin afterwards.


Baking Soda, Honey, Coconut/Olive Oil

• 1 tsp baking soda

• 1 tbsp honey

• 1 tsp coconut/olive oil

How to prepare it:
Mix all the ingredients and apply the paste over your face — excluding the eyes, area around lips, and eyebrows. Rub the paste over the face for 1-2 minutes in a slow and circular movement. Leave on for 10-15 minutes. While rinsing off with warm water, use a washcloth for added exfoliating effects.


Banana Honey Hair Mask


• 1 banana

• 1/4 cup honey

• 1/2 cup plain yogurt

How to prepare it:
Puree the banana into a smooth mixture before adding in the other ingredients to avoid any chunks that could get stuck in your hair. Mash the banana, then stir in the honey and yogurt, mixing well until you have a smooth yet thick consistency. Allow the mixture to soak in hair for 15-30 minutes, then rinse well.

Egg and Olive Oil Hair Mask


• 2 tablespoons olive oil

• 1 tablespoon white vinegar

• 1 egg

How to prepare it:
Whisk the ingredients all together and let it sit on your hair for 20 minutes, then rinse well. For longer hair, double the amount of ingredients in the recipe.


Vinegar and lemon mask


• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

• 1 lemon

• 1 tsp honey

How to prepare it:
Mix the ingredients together. Apply the mask evenly throughout damp hair and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash out the mask with shampoo and conditioner. You can apply this mask once a week. This will keep your hair soft and shiny.
