Ingredients

· 2 cups gram flour
· ½-2/3 cup ghee (add more if required)
· 1 cup powdered sugar
· 4 cardamoms, powdered
· 1-2tbsp raisins

Method

Dry roast the flour in a pan on slow flame for about 10-12 minutes and keep on stirring continuously so that it does not burn and turns an even brown colour. Melt the ghee, add in the flour and continue roasting it for about five to six minutes more, stirring continuously. The besan would start to give a nice nutty fragrance and will start releasing ghee. Turn off the flame and remove the pan from the stove. Add in powdered sugar along with powdered cardamom and raisins. You can also add chopped dry fruits at this stage. Stir well so that no lumps are formed. Once you have mixed well, let the mixture cool down to room temperature. Make small or medium sized ladoos and store them in air tight container.
