Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently basking in the success of her latest release Veere Di Wedding at the box office. The 37-year old actress, who signs very selective films has apparently come on board as the lead actress in Karan Johar’s next production which will be directed by debutante Raj Mehta. Reportedly, the actress will portray the character of a single mother in the film.

Kareena Kapoor Khan will romance none other than our Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar in the movie. “The makers have roped in Akshay Kumar to play the male lead. The story is about two couples. They are looking for a senior actor opposite Bebo. Akshay was their first choice and he loved the script. He discussed the film with Karan, and the modalities were worked out immediately.”

The film is expected to go on floors in November after Akshay wraps up Sajid Khan’s Housefull 4.
