· ½ kg beef

· 250g yogurt

· 5-6 green chillies

· 1tbsp ginger, chopped

· 1tbsp garlic, chopped

· 2tbsp lemon juice

· 1tbsp red chillies, chopped

· ½ tsp saunf

· ½ tsp zeera

· 1 pinch methi seeds

· 1 pinch kalonji

· ½ tsp rai

· ½ cup oil

· Salt to taste

· Coriander leaves for garnishing


Take a fry pan, add oil then ginger, garlic and beef, and mix nicely. Add yogurt along with one cup of water. Mix up all the ingredients well, cover with a lid and leave it till beef gets soften. In a blender, add saunf, zeera, kalonji, methi seeds, rai, salt, red chilli and blend well. Add this to the beef and cook over low heat. Add in lemon juice and green chilies and cook for a few minutes over low heat. Garnish with coriander and serve.
