Sweet Tea Ice Cream

· 2 cups heavy cream

· 2 cups half-and-half

· 1 cup sweet tea

· 1 cup sugar

· 2tsp vanilla extract


Prepare your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s directions. Pour all of the ingredients into a large bowl. Stir to combine until sugar dissolves. Fill frozen cylinder of ice cream maker no more than two-thirds full. Refrigerate any remaining mixture. Turn on the ice cream maker and mix for approximately 20 minutes or until the ice cream is formed. Remove the ice cream from the cylinder and place into a dish to be placed into the freezer. Freeze the ice cream until it has hardened, for about an hour or two.
