Of losses & gains

Earlier it was reported that John Abraham and Taapsee Pannu will soon to be paired opposite each other in a thriller adapted from the Spanish film The Invisible Guest. However, mills are abuzz that leggy lass Kriti Sanon has replaced the Judwaa 2 actress in the movie. “There was a disagreement between the makers regarding the female lead," revealed a source close to the development, adding “Debate and discussion followed and it was decided that Kriti is a better choice for the role, so the film was offered to Kriti, who came on board." While that’s one good news for Sanon, she seems to have been replaced in another film by Aditi Rao Hydari.

After the failure of Rangoon at the box office, director and music composer Vishal Bhardwaj is taking tiny steps ahead and planning something in small scale compared to his last movie. If reports are to be believed, he is making a small-budget comedy movie, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead and Kriti was supposed to be cast opposite him. However according to a report, it will now have Aditi as the lead in the untitled movie. “Vishal wanted Kriti Sanon as the lead, but things did not come to a conformity between Kriti and the makers, so Aditi was found as a replacement,” a source said.
