STYLE RADAR

ON THE HUNT FOR THE HAUTIEST STYLE PIECES OUT THERE

NEW SEASON, NEW SCENT

Bottega has only gone and introduced three (yes, three) new fragrances which comprise the Parco Pallodiano collection. Sixteenth-century architect Andrea Palladio’s legacy is a source of ongoing inspiration, shaping Bottega Veneta’s vision for the future expansion of the fragrances as the line expands. For now we just need to pick our favourite.

Shades on

Sunglasses styles evolve so quickly these days that it can be hard to keep up with the latest currents. A pair of iconic retro glasses can take any guy’s accessory game from zero to hero. Get a mean-looking pair of vintage oversize aviators for your very own interpretation of 70s macho-man.

FABULOUS PICK GUCCI SHOES

On the more statement side of the statement-led brand, we love these all-or-nothing font hiking sneakers. Available in a variety of colours, and with removable jewelled detailing, they seem an obvious frontrunner for Gucci’s new sneaker of the season.

THE SHIRT EDIT

Men’s fashion is now revisiting the classic men’s shirt for fall wear, bestowing upon us the usual laid-back statement style, brands like Saint Laurent are now known for. Western elements with gold detailing meet tread-driven hippy designs. No matter what your style is, give it a ‘shirt edit’ this season.

A WATCH TO STAND THE TEST OF TIME

The new Santos de Cartier has already reached iconic status, the timepiece offering a bold design for risk-takers and rule-breakers.

BACK IN THE DAY

Vintage-style menwear is our favourite type at the moment. Often thought of as the contemporary modern fashion, this season’s vintage plays about a retro feel with thick knit, wide-striped knitwear and ‘70s-inspired flared trousers.

THE NEW BLACK TIE

A standard black Tuxedo is too safe these days. High-street brands are now introducing a variety of browns, navy, or if you insist on being black-tux-only kind of guy, a double-breasted style which gives it a modern update.

CULTURE CLASH

Nineties-inspired Prada shirts with bold clashing prints offer a nod to rave culture, but of course, with a touch of stylish luxury. It is Prada after all.
