A very catchy tune is available on the net these days. Although, it’s a familiar tune, the video, and the way it’s been sung makes it sound novel. Highly talented, Nabeel Shaukat has sung this number titled, Kooch. I don’t know when was it released, but it surely makes you a fan the moment you tune into it. This one is a girl-next-door song, which tickles you with its light feel. Shaukat, who immediately thrilled the Sur Kshetra Grand Finale judges, when he participated in the show in 2014, is well-versed in the finer points of music, and won the popular competition hands down. Shaukat is the son of famous film, folk and ghazal singer. His elder brother also used to sing good ghazals, but seems to have left singing. However, Nabeel has made a name for himself in Coke Studio (CS). His combo song with Ali Sethi, titled Chan Chan Chankan Wangan was a real ear candy, which is still remembered with a sigh. This year, too, he has sung Mujh Se Pehli Si Muhabbat with Humaira Channa.
