For the first time, a Pakistan based production and content development company, Wingman Films, headed by Ali Murtaza, Yasir Tipu Khan, and Mohammad Omar, have done something which will actually mark Pakistan’s first entry in the league of big content providers for VOD channels from across the world.

These guys roped in the biggest VFX producer in Hollywood to produce a supernatural thriller episodic series from Pakistan. Brian Adler, the brain behind the VFX of Hollywood’s major blockbusters is not only the VFX producer but also an executive producer on the project, which will be potentially streamed on leading networks like Netflix or Amazon.

Adler’s work has been recognised for films like Terminator, Transformers, Antman, Justice League, Black Panther, Batman vs. Superman, 300, Hunger Games and Furious 7 etc. Written by two American writers, this series is going to be shot between Pakistan and US with a universally appealing cast from Pakistan, US, China, and the Middle East.

The makers are in talks with Mary Poppins’ Emily Blunt, Jurassic World’s Bryce Dallas – Howard, Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick and Hamza Ali Abbasi for the first season. After an intensive pre-production phase of two years, the series will finally start filming in 2019.
