Earlier this year, fans were in for a pleasant surprise when Bollywood's three biggest celebrities, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar announced a project together. Karan had collaborated with Salman to produce the film starring Akshay Kumar. But later, Salman opted out of the project, thus leaving the much-talked-about project in jeopardy. Now there are rumours that the leading lady for the film, Katrina Kaif has also opted out of the project. The rethinking is apparently due to Salman Khan who was earlier the film's producer. According to reports, Salman walked out of the project after he realised that Karan was not keeping his word to launch Salman's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. Reportedly, Katrina does not want to upset Salman by working with those who didn't do right by him. It is also said that there isn't much for Katrina to do in the film based on the 1897 battle of Saragarhi. Instead, the makers are now keen on hiring Parineeti Chopra.
