A social media 'star' has streamed video of himself setting his Mercedes on fire on an Irish beach.

Strugurel Lingurar is an Ireland-based Romanian - and posted the shocking video earlier but appears to have deleted it.

Dublin Live reports that the vlogger, who regularly goes live on Facebook, said he would set his 2007 Mercedes on fire if he got 40,000 shares.

He has previously been criticised for live-streaming himself recklessly driving around Dublin while drinking beer and getting sick.

In other videos, Strugurel, which translates to 'Chapstick' or 'Little Grape', can be seen vomiting on himself and waving bottles of gin around as he drives around the Irish capital.

The video was shared 15,000 times with more than 160,000 views and garnered attention from Romanian news outlets. Lingurar has had previous dealings with Irish police and even once broadcast them searching his car.
