Be it antique silver ear pieces studded with jewels to the chaste chand balis and vintage chokers – you will find it all. MAG asked the curator how she manages to collect such a vast collection to which she replies, “My mom was always fond of traditional Jewelry from the late 70s-80s. So I started searching and talking to people from around the world to bring in the pieces to Pakistan. We managed to secure a connection with different countries to import our collection.” Our favourite pick was a pair of oxidised silver-and-gold peacock earrings. Featuring a miniature peacock design reminiscent of Mughal craft, the earpieces are studded with ruby-hued stones, tingling the traditional lover in us.
