In Focus

Walking amidst the lush green tea estates of Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands of Malaysia is truly a sensory experience. There are four tea gardens in the region mostly established by British during colonial times that produce 60 per cent of the tea for the country. Being a tea lover, I enjoyed thoroughly, sitting at a factory store of one of the plantations, sipping freshly brewed tea while gazing at the valley below. Surrounded by forests are steep hills which wind down with endless rows of tiered lush 8,000 acres of green tea bushes that makes the sight visually pleasant.
