Chicken Shinwari Karahi

Ingredients

· 1kg Chicken

· ½ cup oil

· 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste

· ¼ cup yogurt

· ½ cup finely chopped onion

· 2 cups chopped tomatoes

· 1 teaspoon salt

· 2 teaspoon red chili powder

· 2 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds

· 1 teaspoon crushed cumin seeds

· 2 tablespoon finely chopped green chilies

· Finely chopped coriander leaves for garnish

· Green chilies slice for garnish

· Ginger julienne for garnish

· Karahi masala powder for garnish

Method

Heat oil in a wok and stir fry chopped onion until light golden. Now put ginger garlic paste and stir for two minutes. Then add chicken and stir it slightly for five minutes. Put tomatoes with salt, red chili powder, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and 1/2 cup water and simmer it for 25-30 minutes until chicken tender. Now add yogurt and chopped green chilies and mix for five minutes till oil separates. Then sprinkle coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger and karahi masala powder for garnishing. Serve with naan or chapati.
