Chocolate Velvet Pudding

Ingredients

· 2 eggs sponge cake

· 1 ½ cup milk

· 2 tablespoon custard powder

· ½ cup sugar

· 1 heaped tablespoon gelatin

· 1 cup whipped fresh cream

· 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

· 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

· ½ cup fruit syrup

· ½ cup grated chocolate

· Whipped cream

Method

Cut the cake into thin slices, arrange in a dish, soak it with fruit syrup, and mix custard powder in ¼ cup milk. Put the remaining milk in sauce pan to boil with sugar, when it starts boiling add the custard powder. Cook stirring till thick, dissolve gelatin in ¼ cup water add coco in it and cook till dissolve. Remove and add to the custard, mix well, fold in whipped cream and essence, pour over the cake. Chill till set decorate with cream, grated chocolate or dry fruits if you want.
