Rich Bread Pudding

Ingredients

· 1 cup butter

· 8-10 slices bread or cake slices broken into pieces

· 250g cream

· 300g milk

· 50g peaches

· 120g sugar

· 2-3 eggs beaten

· 60g raisins

· 60g desiccated coconut

· 60g chopped nuts or walnuts

· 3g ground cinnamon

· 1 pinch nutmeg

For sauce:

· 60g butter

· 80g icing sugar

· 1 small egg yolk

Method

In a bowl put all the ingredients and mix well and cook for 20-25 minutes until a thick rich pudding is formed. For the sauce beat the butter and icing sugar together, beat until it’s beaten completely then add egg yolk in it and beat well until creamy consistency. Then keep aside. Now put the pudding in baking dish and pour the sauce on it and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Sprinkle the icing sugar on it and serve.
