Hailing from Faisalabad veteran player Muhammad Asif claimed the title as the IBSF World Snooker Champion against Philippine’s Jefrey Roda by 8 – 15. Asif previously claimed the title in 2012 and was awarded a series of prize money from provincial and federal governments, of which only one saw its way to the winner. At present, Asif teaches at the University of Agriculture snooker academy for free.
