Faiz International Festival which is an amalgamation of music, art, and literature opened at the Alhamra Art Center, Lahore on 15th November. The event was attended by renowned celebrities including the Superstar actress Mahira Khan. Khan attended the session curated by the director Sarmad Khoosat and Meera Hashmi (who also happens to be the granddaughter of Faiz Ahmed Faiz) to talk about how she manages to take stardom and her family hand in hand. Mahira Khan opened up at the event and discussed her daily routine and various issues. Talking about her family and how she manages to give time to her son she said, “I am trying my best to give time to my son Azlan who is currently in the fifth grade.” She also advised the young generation to use social media with caution and with a positive approach. Khan also talked about her movie Superstar and how it affected her.
