Google pays a creative tribute to Parveen Shakir on her 67th birthday

Commemorating the 67th birth anniversary of Parveen Shakir, Google Doodle paid a tribute to the legendary Urdu poet. The tribute featured some beautiful artworks that depicted the poetess’ literary works, including Khushbu (Fragrance), Sad-barg (Marsh Marigold), Khud Kalami (Talking To Oneself), Inkaar (Denial), Kaf-e-Aina (The Mirror’s Edge), and Mah-e-Tamaam (Full Moon). Google Doodle tweeted on her birthday: “Writing from a young woman’s perspective, Pakistani poet Parveen Shakir had an exceptionally decorated career. Her distinguished contributions to Urdu poetry earned her one of the highest civil awards in Pakistan.”
