No, Atif Aslam’s newborn is not named ‘Alhumdulilah’, Indian tabloid apologises

Say What?!

Pakistan’s most acclaimed singer Atif Aslam recently shared the news of the birth of his baby boy on his social media with the caption, “Ladies and gentlemen our new arrival Alhamdulilah. Both mother and baby are fine. Keep us in your prayers and don’t forget to say Mashallah.” Atif was grateful to Allah for the blessing for which he wrote Alhumdulilah but an Indian tabloid Desi Martini read that wrong and mistakenly took it as Atif’s new baby boy’s name; “Atif Aslam and wife welcome their second child, names him Alhumdulilah!” However, after several trolls, the publication accepted their mistake and also corrected it; “An error in our copy on #AtifAslam claiming the name of his child wrong has been fixed. We sincerely apologise for the error and any misunderstanding or misinterpretation it may have caused.”
