The Bollywood biopic of the youngest Nobel Prize laureate, has finally been released. Gul Makai is an upcoming biopic, directed by Amjad Khan. The film is based on the life and struggle of the Pakistani teenager, girl-education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai. The trailer shows a glimpse of Malala’s life in her hometown and how she advocated for girl’s education. It also shows a bone-chilling scene of the brutal Taliban attack on the 15-year-old. The film stars Reem Shaikh in the lead, beautifully portraying the character of Malala. Gul Makai is all set to hit the theaters on 31st January 2020.
