Love Island’s host Caroline Flack passed away

According to multiple reports, an ambulance was called to the Love Island host's London home the night before she died. While officials cannot reveal the identity of the person, a source reported that an ambulance was indeed called to Caroline's home on Valentine's Day. News broke the next day that Caroline had passed away. She was 40 years old. A lawyer for Caroline's family confirmed the TV host took her own life and was found in her east London flat. Caroline's boyfriend Lewis Burton later broke his silence with a heartfelt post on Instagram. “My heart is broken,” he shared with a special photo. “We had something so special. I am so lost for words, I am in so much pain and I miss you so much.” Caroline's death comes two months after she announced that she was stepping down as the host of Love Island, a reality show she hosted since its debut in 2015. “Everybody at Love Island and ITV is shocked and saddened by this desperately sad news,” a spokesperson for ITV later shared. “Caroline was a much loved member of the Love Island team and our sincere thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends.”
