A man has flown across South Africa with just 100 helium balloons connected to a cheap camping chair.

Tom Morgan, got inspiration from the Pixar movie Up and tied helium balloons to a chair and soared the sky at 8,000 ft near Johannesburg, South Africa.

However, his fun adventure came to an end when he was told that strong winds were on their way and he had to cut the balloons one-by-one in order to lower himself to the ground.

Morgan said, "It was a fairly indescribable feeling, wafting across Africa on a cheap camping chair dangling from a load of balloons. Sort of peaceful and terrifying in equal measure. I came here to see if we could organise the world's most ridiculous air race, and after that flight, I'm more convinced than ever that we can."
