Potato Cutlets

Ingredients

· 300g potatoes

· ½ teaspoon red chili powder

· ½ teaspoon coriander powder

· ½ teaspoon cumin powder

· ¼ teaspoon ginger powder

· ¼ teaspoon chaat masala

· 2 tablespoons corn flour

· 2-3 teaspoons coriander leaves

· Cilantro leaves

· Oil for frying

· Salt as required

Method

Steam the potatoes till they are falling apart. Once cooked, drain them completely. Now mash the potatoes. Add all the spices, salt, corn starch and coriander leaves and mix well. Divide the mixture into medium shaped patties. Apply oil on your palms when making the patties. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry them carefully. When one side becomes golden and crisp, turn over and fry the other side. Once done, drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve with coriander or tamarind chutney.
