First mobile app on reproductive health launched

Good news!

Mashal, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the welfare of Pakistanis, with the help of Bill and Melinda Gates Institute and BAYER, launched Pakistan’s first ever bilingual mobile and web application on reproductive health named ‘Bridge the Gap”. It is an app regarding family health and services, women’s reproductive health and HIV/AIDS. The app was launched at a launch event at Grand Palm Hotel, Lahore. According to the director of Mashal, Ms Laraib Abid, this app was the need of the hour as the country’s population is facing many problems. She believed that due to lack of awareness, people are deprived of the basic provisions of family health and services. The purpose of this app is to make the youth aware of the alternative means available to control these problems.
