Cold temperature and bonfires are something that many people like about winters. But there is something more about this season that many of us really don't like – hair problems. Seasonal changes affect the hair in worst ways in that it increases hair fall, dryness and roughness. Try out homemade winter hair packs that will help you combat all these hair havocs and will help you get the perfect shiny, long and thick hair. Unlike chemical hair care products that are available in the market, homemade packs are easy to apply and they have no side effects. Here are a few that you can try.

For dry and frizzy hair: For dry hair you can use a banana hair pack. Take one banana and mash it with a tablespoon of honey and lemon juice. Mix well and apply on your hair focusing more on the roots. Leave it on for 30 minutes then rinse off with a mild shampoo. This will make your hair soft and manageable.

For damaged hair: Whisk together two egg yolks and one egg white in a bowl. Now add juice of a lemon and a few drops of honey to it. Apply the mixture and leave it on for 45 minutes then rinse off your hair. In a separate bowl, stir a cup of curd. Now apply it for another 15 minutes and then wash your hair with a mild shampoo. You will be amazed to see the result of this hair pack.

For static hair: Fenugreek does wonder to hair. Soak some fenugreek seeds overnight. Grind it well the next morning with a cup of curd to form a thick paste. Now apply this paste on your hair and wait till it dries. Wash your hair with a shampoo and feel the difference.

For dull hair: Mix equal proportions of vinegar and honey in a cup of warm water. Apply this mix to your hair and it will add more bounce and volume to your hair. Make sure that you do not use this hair pack too frequently as vinegar is acidic in nature and using it too often can damage your hair.

For hair breakage: Combine one egg yolk with a tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of castor oil. Apply the mixture for 45 minutes and then it rinse off. Regular use of this pack can help you prevent hair breakage in winters.

All you have to do is apply some overnight and wash it off in the morning. It aides in hair growth and will keep the area hydrated.
