Nutella Pancakes with Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

· 150 ml milk

· 3 tablespoons Nutella

· 2 tablespoons butter

· 1 egg

· 2 teaspoons caster sugar

· 100 g flour

· 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

· ½ tablespoon baking powder

· ½ teaspoon salt

For Chocolate Sauce

· 150 g dark chocolate

· 100 ml milk

Method

Heat milk in a pan with Nutella and whisk until melted. Leave to cool, and then whisk in the butter, egg and sugar. Put flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a bowl and mix in the salt. Gradually whisk this mix into the dry ingredients to make a batter. Heat a frying pan and brush with butter. Pour in batter to make pancakes – cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip over and cook for another minute. To make the sauce, gently heat the ingredients in a pan, whisking until shiny. Pour over pancakes to serve.
