60 SECONDS WITH RAHMA ALI

The entertainment world is smaller than you think. It’s an industry that’s often the result of who you know, and sometimes it actually comes down to who you’re related to. That having been said, although Rahma Ali belongs to a family with an artistic background, she is an actress turned singer who has proven herself in her own right. By performing on big music platforms of the country, she has become a household name. We asked Rahma to spare 60 seconds for us and join us for a quick and fun rapid fire. Excerpts:

If your life had a theme song, what would it be

Does Anybody Hear Her – Casting Crowns.

If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be?

Superman!

Do you have a useless talent?

Oh so many!

Best compliment you have ever received?

“Wish we had more people like you in this world.”

If you could be a child for one day, what would you do?

I would fix things between my parents and tell them never to part ways. Because I know what the future holds.

An item you like to collect?

Musical instruments and notebooks.

What can turn the day around for you?

Live music sessions, going to my favourite places with my favourite people and meeting an intelligent person (that’s so rare).

Your favourite health care regimen?

[laughs] I could win an award for the laziest and least concerned person.

Tell us an embarrassing story.

Wow. I can’t think of any. Maybe I don’t easily get embarrassed.

Something you wish you had more time to do?

I wish I could spend more time with my father. Wish he’d loved me.

If you could meet a person for the first time again, who would it be?

So many! And I would leave it at hello or maybe not even look, walk past them. That’d be so good!

A beauty product you swear by?

Garnier Cleanser and Toner. Really good and very economical.
